Stephen J. Karin, 79, of Dunkirk passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, April 17, 2026. Born in Dunkirk on December 24, 1946, he was the husband of Ruth (Heiderman) Karin and son of the late Arthur J. and Florence (Sampson) Karin.
Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Ruth (Heiderman) Karin; loving children Heide and Kevin Karin; grandchildren, Ian Karin, Emma Karin and Scout Karin; brothers, Dennis (Carolyn) Karin and David (Christine) Karin; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held in private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held privately in Willowbrook Park Cemetery.
