Dorothy M. Post, 89, of Westfield entered into rest peacefully on Saturday, April 18, 2026, with love ones by her side. She was born on October 25, 1936 in Erie, PA to her late parents, Evan and Marion (Newell) Crump.
Dorothy married Claire Post on May 5, 1956 and were together for 56 years until his passing in 2012.
Dorothy was a longtime employee of Chautauqua Erie Telephone Company as a data processor, retiring in 1992.
She enjoyed gardening, bowling, card clubs, and spending time with her family especially watching her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's sporting events.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Vern (Sue) Post, Carol (Daniel) Greco, Gail (Larry) Jackson and Marie (Eric) Edwards; her grandchildren, Vern Jr. (Janelle), Andrew (Loraine), Amy, Dan (Heather), Michelle (Glenn), Stephanie (Cory), Nathan (Gennilee), Gregory (Jenna), Rachael (Daryn) and Derek (Brittany); 18 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Howard Crump and Lois (James) Lindell; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation and service will be held on Saturday, May 2 from 2:00-3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church, 49 South Portage Street in Westfield, with a funeral service to immediately follow.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Morse Funeral Home, 19 East Main Street in Brocton.
