Joseph L. Rasinski, 83, of Westfield passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, April 19, 2026 at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. He was born on August 5, 1942 in Buffalo, the son of the late John and Jessica (Jankowski) Rasinski.
Joseph married Lucy A. Przybysz on August 13, 1966.
Joe was a 1960 graduate of Bishop Ryan High School in Buffalo. He continued his education at Erie Community College, earning an Associate's degree in chemistry. He worked for Snyder Tank, retiring after more than 20 years of service.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 59 years, Lucy Rasinski; two loving children, Jennifer (Gerald) Rasinski of Gowanda and Jill (Matthew) Mumbach of Sardinia; three cherished grandsons, Zachary (Gina) Drozd, Andrew and Noah Mumbach; a great-granddaughter, Violet Mumbach; and three stepgrandchildren, Jayden, Jacob and Jayliana. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Rasinski.
Per Joe's wishes, there will be no public visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held in the future, date and time to be announced.
