Anna E. Russell, 87, of Silver Creek passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, October 11, 2026 at her home, with her family at her side. She was born in North Bend, PA on August 20, 1939, the daughter of the late Benny and Ida Abbott.
Anna married Ray Russell on October 31, 1952, and he preceded her in death on August 24, 2002. She was also predeceased by two sons, Roy (late Elizabeth) and Clarence Russell; two grandsons, David and Dana Russell; and a brother, William Abbott. She is survived by four beloved children, Rose (Bill) Russell-Fitzner of Catawba, NC, Robin (late Roger) Woodcock of Ripley, Rae (late Ross) Worden and Roger Russell, both of Silver Creek; seven cherished grandchildren, Terry Piccolo, Ben Russell, Barbara Woodcock-Ward, Roger (Angel Doner) Woodcock, Jr., Samantha Laskey, Rebecca and Kelly (Nicole) Worden; 16 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; a dear sister, Sarah (late Bill) Garmin; and many nieces and nephews.
Anna enjoyed gardening, and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Per Anna's wishes, there will be no public visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience on the family.
