Bills replace one defensive tackle with another...Yankees get Miggy with it late...and an amazing double play in Anaheim. Greg Larson has more details on today's Sunday Sports Update...
Sunday Sports Update
Left: The Buffalo Bills announced today the signing of defensive tackle Tyrunn Walker to provide some depth at that position. A six-year veteran, Walker started four games last season with the Los Angeles Rams and had previously played for the New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions. To make room for Walker, the Bills released John Hughes, who got injured against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday. Photo by USA Today
Center: With all the star power on the New York Yankees, Miguel Andujar is one of the more overlooked players on the team's roster. On Saturday against the Texas Rangers, Andujar hit his 17th home run of the year, a two-run shot to break a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the 7th inning. The Yankees held on for a 5-3 win. Right: Brooks Koepka sits atop a leaderboard filled with plenty of star power after three round of the PGA Championship. Koepka enters today's final round at -12, two shots better than Adam Scott. Rickie Fowler (-9), Tiger Woods (-8), and Jason Day (-8) are also among the stars in contention in St. Louis. Photo by USA Today
Bottom: This is not a double play you will see everyday. Oakland Athletics center fielder Ramon Laureano, who was just called up to the Major Leagues this week, made a running catch toward the warning track against the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday, then launched a throw to first base to double off a runner and complete an unlikely 8-3 double play.
