Top left: Conor Sheary beats goalie Laurent Brossoit during a shootout during the Buffalo Sabres' game in Winnipeg on Friday. Sheary's goal came in the seventh round of the shootout and gave the Sabres a 2-1 victory. It is still early in this NHL season, but the Sabres are currently tied for third in the Eastern Conference with 24 points, trailing only the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
