Sunday Sports Update

Top: It's celebration time for the University and Buffalo men (left) and women (right)!  On Saturday, both teams clinched automatic bids into the NCAA Tournament with victories in their respective MAC championship games.  The men defeated Bowling Green 87-73 to clinch their fourth MAC Tournament title in the last five years, while the women knocked off Ohio 77-61.  Photos by the University at Buffalo

Bottom left: While the UB men were a lock to reach the Big Dance, St. Bonaventure may need to win one more game in order to make the field of 68.  On Saturday, the Bonnies defeated Rhode Island 68-51 in the Atlantic 10 semifinals and will take on St. Louis in today's championship game in Brooklyn.  Photo by St. Bonaventure University
