Top left: The 145th edition of the Kentucky Derby produced something that the event had never seen before -- the disqualification of a winning horse. Maximum Security was the first horse to cross the finish line at Churchill Downs, but after a 22-minute review, the horse was found to have illegally bumped into other horses on the final turn. As a result, Maximum Security was disqualified, and 65-1 longshot Country House was declared the official winner. Photo by the Courier-Journal

After the Bruins squandered a 3-1 lead against the Columbus Blue Jackets, Pastrnak scored with 1:28 remaining to give his team a 4-3 win in Game 5 of the NHL's Eastern Conference Semifinals.
