Saturday Sports Update

Or will Kawhi Leonard (right) and the Toronto Raptors stake their claim to their first ever NBA Finals? It promises to be a tight affair in Toronto for tonight's Game 6. Top right: Speaking of the Golden State Warriors, Kevin Durant on Friday spoke with reporters for the first time since suffering a calf injury during the Western Conference Finals. Durant, who averaged 34.2 points per game this postseason before the injury, addressed a number of topics, including the idea that the Warriors play better without him in the lineup. Durant says he disputes that notion.
Bottom: A rematch of last year's extra-inning classic between Fredonia and Depew did not go the Hillbillies' way on Friday. Trey Swartz (left) managed to line a double into right field during the Section VI Class B-1 quarterfinal contest; unfortunately for the Billies, it was one of only two hits they were able to muster off Depew ace Josh Goss (right). Goss threw a complete-game shutout as Fredonia lost by a score of 6-0. Photos by Ron Szot
