Saturday Sports Update
Top: Quarterback Josh Allen (left), wide receiver Zay Jones (right), and the Buffalo Bills left the confines of St. John Fisher College on Friday to continue a relatively new tradition: the Blue and Red Practice. It's held once every training camp at New Era Field, where the players get to hold a practice session in front of eager fans who are eager to see their team take the field before preseason begins. Bottom left: It's only the month of August, but (to borrow John Sterling's home run call for him) it was Gleyber Day in the Bronx on Friday! Gleyber Torres lined a grand slam into the left field seats in the bottom of the 1st inning, and that's all the New York Yankees needed to defeat the Boston Red Sox by a score of 4-2.
