The junior, who entered the contest averaging 13.7 points per game on the season, cranked it up a few notches by scoring a career-high 40 points, which included nine made three-pointers. He also grabbed 13 rebounds as the Billies went on to win comfortably 96-55. It was the first 40-point game by a Fredonia boys basketball player in at least a decade. Photo by the Observer

During that span, Linus Ullmark has allowed only four goals and has a .948 save percentage. The Sabres will look to extending their win streak to four when they face the Nashville Predators tonight in the music city. Photo by USA Today

Bottom right: Is the NFL's Rooney Rule working? The rule requires at least one minority candidate to be interviewed for each open head coaching position. However, only three minorities are currently head coaches in the NFL, like Miami's Brian Flores. According to Neil Payne of FiveThirtyEight, the league needs to start hiring minorities as assistant coaches so they gain experience to become head coaches. Photo by USA Today
