Top right: Remember the XFL, the experimental football league that lasted only one season back in 2001? Well, a new incarnation of the XFL will kick off this afternoon. The eight-team league will feature a number of rules that are different from the NFL, including no extra-point kicking; the option of going for one, two, or three points after a touchdown; and a 25-second play clock.

Franklinville senior Dani Haskell hit that milestone on Friday by scoring 31 points in a victory at Falconer.
