Saturday Sports Update

Top: WDOE (94.9 FM/1410 AM) will bring you live coverage of two Section VI girls high school basketball championship games this weekend!  Today, we'll have the Class C-1 final as Lily Woodis (left) and Chautauqua Lake take on Falconer at Jamestown Community College at 12:00 PM.  Then on Sunday, Dunkirk goes for its first sectional title since 1991 as the Lady Marauders (right) battle Iroquois in the Class B-1 final at Buffalo State at 11:00 AM.  You can also listen to a live stream of both games here at chautauquatoday.com!  File photos

Bottom: The Buffalo Sabres shook up their forward lines during Friday's practice, as they search for some answers on offense.  One of those line combinations involved Jeff Skinner (left) skating alongside Jack Eichel (right) and Sam Reinhart.  The Sabres, who have lost their last five games, play at the Philadelphia Flyers tonight.  Photo by the Buffalo Sabres
