Saturday Sports Update

Top: Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott addressed reporters this week for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began.  McDermott addressed a number of topics, including last week's virtual NFL Draft, which he called a "unique" experience.  He also talked about the team's big acquisition of wide receiver Stefon Diggs from the Minnesota Vikings, saying that Diggs has been "awfully good to this point," and communication with him has been "top-notch."

Bottom left: The start of the NFL's 2020 regular season may be in jeopardy due to the COVID-19 outbreak.  The league is currently acting as if things will go on as usual, but ESPN reports that it does have contingency plans in place.  Meanwhile, ESPN also reports that the NBA and NHL are making adjustments in an attempt to still be able to award their respective trophies for this season.  Both leagues are reportedly willing to start their next seasons as late as December in order to be able to hold the NBA Finals and Stanley Cup Finals later this summer.
