Top: The Buffalo Sabres will have the 8th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft. The result was announced Friday night during the NHL's Draft Lottery. The Sabres entered the night having a 6.5% chance of landing the 1st overall pick. This year's NHL Draft, which has not been rescheduled yet, will be the first for Kevyn Adams (right) as the team's new General Manager.
Bottom left: Major League Baseball this week settled on a plan for shortened 2020 season, which will see training camps start next Wednesday, July 1st, with the regular season to follow on July 23rd or 24th. Bottom right: NBA players will be in a "bubble" in Orlando in an attempt to minimize the risk of spreading COVID-19 leading up to the league's restart on July 30th. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski says being inside the bubble will provide a significant mental challenge for players because they will be isolated from the outside world and their families from two to three months.
