Sunday Sports Update
Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott has stated that one of his goals was to get the team to play home playoff games. On Saturday, that goal was met as the Bills crushed the Denver Broncos 48-19 at Empower Field in Denver to clinch the AFC East, their first division title in 25 years, and with that, a guaranteed home playoff game for the first time since 1996. Josh Allen (top left) orchestrated an offense that racked up 534 total yards. He threw for 359 yards, ran for 33 yards, and accounted for four touchdowns in the win. Stefon Diggs (top right), who broke the single-season franchise record for receptions, accounted for 147 of those yards on 11 catches. How excited were Bills fans for a division title? Check out the horde of fans who gathered outside the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport overnight to greet the team as they flew in!
