Bottom: Fredonia High School's boys basketball team improved its overall record to 4-1 by defeating Chautauqua Lake 73-52 in a non-league contest in Fredonia on Saturday. The Billies broke open a tight game by outscoring the visiting Thunderbirds 34-13 in the 2nd quarter. Fredonia senior Tyler Putney (left) led all players with 24 points for Fredonia, while Chautauqua Lake senior Luke Waters (right) tallied 21 points, eight rebounds, and five steals.
