Top: Fredonia's big three carried the Hillbillies to a Section VI championship with a 69-58 victory over Roy-Hart in Saturday's Class B-3 finals. Tyler Putney (left) starred in his final game, scoring 11 points in the 1st quarter en route to a game-high 23 points. Senior Mike Berg (center) also came up big in his final high school basketball game, knocking down four three-pointers and finishing with 18 points. And Sophomore Ethan Fry (right) added 13 points. Bottom left: Linus Ullmark returned to the Buffalo Sabres' starting lineup on Saturday and made 33 saves against the Boston Bruins. The Sabres played well enough to take a lead after two periods of play, but not well enough to close the deal, losing to the Bruins 3-2. Buffalo's losing streak is now at 17 games.
