Top left: Hunter Larson outruns the defense on a 52-yard touchdown reception during the 2nd quarter of Saturday's high school football game between Silver Creek and Maple Grove. Larson finished with 216 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns to help lead the Black Knights to a 56-8 rout of the Red Dragons. Silver Creek is now 2-2 on the season and 1-2 in Class D. Top right: John Swabik goes into the end zone on a 28-yard touchdown reception in the 2nd quarter of a Class C South matchup between Clymer-Sherman-Panama and Falconer-Cassadaga Valley on Saturday. It was the first of three touchdowns on the afternoon for Swabik, as the Wolfpack cruised to a 41-7 win over the Golden Cougars to remain unbeaten. Cole struck out 11 batters and allowed one run on three hits in seven innings on the hill as the Yankees won 2-1.
