Top: The Buffalo Sabres fell behind 2-0 after one period, but the tide turned in the 2nd period, as they tallied four goals in the 2nd period en route to a 4-3 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday. The team's performance got the approval of Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (right), who took in the game at the KeyBank Center and greeted the players in the locker the room after the game. Bottom left: Josh Donaldson drops his bat and watches his first home run in a New York Yankees uniform leave Camden Yards during Saturday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. The two-run homer by Donaldson, also known as "The Bringer of Rain," capped a four-run rally in the 5th inning that immediately followed a rain/hail delay. New York went on to win by a 5-2 score. Bottom right: A Dunkirk native will be trying her hand at this year's Boston Marathon. Katrina Mackowiak will be running Monday's 26.2-mile trek after qualifying for the event by completing a marathon in Georgia. Mackowiak, who currently resides in the Atlanta area, graduated from Dunkirk High School in 2001 and set school records at the time for both indoor and outdoor track. Photo via John Mackowiak
