Top: The New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox played extra innings at Fenway Park on Saturday. The Yankees scored twice in the top of the 10th inning to take a 5-3 lead, but the Red Sox wound up having the last laugh, as Boston's Alex Verdugo (left) lined a game-winning two-run single to right field off Wandy Peralta (right) with two outs in the bottom of the 10th to hand the Yankees a 6-5 loss. New York also took a lead into the 8th inning before Verdugo tied the game with a two-out single. Images by the Boston Red Sox and the New York Post
Bottom left: Buffalo Sabres Director of Amateur Scouting Jerry Forton talks with reporters after the completion of the 2022 NHL Draft on Friday. Forton had some high praise for the team's first three selections of the draft -- forwards Matthew Savoie, Noah Ostlund and Jiri Kulich. He says seeing their ability to compete caught his eye, and he did not take issue with their lack of size. The Sabres drafted a total of eight forwards this week.
Bottom right: Josh Allen is back out on the golf course this week. The Buffalo Bills quarterback, who competed with Patrick Mahomes against Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers last month in "The Match," is in Nevada for the American Century Championship charity tournament, featuring a host of other sports stars. Allen is in 49th place after two rounds. Photo from the American Century Championship Facebook page
