Top: Today's matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs has received plenty of billing at the national level, and rightfully so; the two teams with the best records in the AFC squaring off in a rematch of last season's wild postseason clash in Kansas City that saw three lead changes in the final 1:54 of regulation before the Chiefs prevailed in overtime. Josh Allen (left) and Gabriel Davis (right) spearheaded Buffalo's 4th-quarter rally that came within 13 seconds of an AFC Championship appearance. Will today's contest live up to the hype? The Sabres suffered their first loss of the season by a 4-3 score at the KeyBank Center, but head coach Don Granato liked how his team battled back after falling behind in the 2nd period. Bottom right: The New York Yankees have their backs to the wall after their bullpen blew a two-run lead in the 9th inning on Saturday to lose 6-5 to the Cleveland Guardians in Game 3 of the American League Division Series. Game 4 takes place tonight; if the Guardians win, they advance to the ALCS to face the Houston Astros, who defeated the Seattle Mariners in a 18-inning marathon to sweep that series.
