Sunday Sports Update

Top left: The first meeting of the season between the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets was a real stumbling block for Josh Allen and company, as they lost 20-17 at MetLife Stadium.  That was on November 6th; now, five weeks later, the Jets are making the trip to Orchard Park as one of three AFC teams currently holding a wild card spot.  Meanwhile, the Bills will try to stay atop the AFC East with a win.  Listen to WDOE (101.5 FM/1410 AM) for all the action from today's game at Highmark Stadium, with kickoff at 1:00 PM!  Photo by the Buffalo Bills

Top right: Buffalo Sabres forward Jeff Skinner was suspended for three games by the NHL on Saturday for this cross-checking incident against Jake Guentzel during Friday's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.  Skinner, who initiated the incident and hit Guentzel in the face with his stick, was assessed a match penalty for the hit.  Skinner served the first game of his suspension on Saturday, with the Sabres losing 3-1 at the Penguins.  Skinner will be eligible to return next Saturday, when the Sabres face the Arizona Coyotes.  Image by the NHL
