Top: Friday night was senior night for the Fredonia High School boys basketball team, but Allegany-Limestone wound spoiling the night for the Hillbillies, handing them a 66-57 loss. Ethan Fry (left) and Jay Hawk (right) carried the team as much as they could, accounting for 44 of the team's points. Fry, shown getting fouled on fall-away jumper, scored a season-high 26 points in the loss, while Hawk finished with 18 points. Images by Fredonia Access
Bottom left: The Buffalo Sabres have had plenty of time to rest during the NHL All-Star break, and today they return to action for a matchup with the Calgary Flames at the KeyBank Center. The Sabres are expected to have leading goalscorer Tage Thompson back in the fold after having a full practice on Friday. Thompson left the team's last game on February 1st with a upper body injury.
