Top left: If the Buffalo Sabres are going to snap their lengthy postseason drought, they need to start stacking wins. Today, the Sabres begin a three-game homestand with a matinee against the Boston Bruins, the top team in the NHL's Eastern Conference. The Sabres begin today six points behind the Pittsburgh Penguins for the final wild card spots in the conference. Buffalo enter today's contest losers of eight of their last 10. Four Fredonia boys players were named to the CCAA Division 1 West All-Star teams; senior Ethan Fry (left), shown taking a shot against Cleveland Hill in the Class B-2 playoffs, was named to the league's First Team, while Jay Hawk and Davion White were named to the Second Team, and Mike Hahn got Honorable Mention.
