Top left: As the New York Yankees deal with some injuries in their starting lineup, they have had to rely on the contributions of some young players to get win. On Saturday, Willie Calhoun was one of the youngsters who came through in a big moment against the Boston Red Sox, as he hit a solo home run in the bottom of the 6th inning to break a 1-1 tie. Top right: The Vegas Golden Knights are one win away from hoisting Lord Stanley's Cup after defeating the Florida Panthers 3-2 on Saturday, and Chandler Stephenson was a big reason for the win. Stephenson scored two goals in the 1st period as the Golden Knights got out to a 3-0 lead before holding on late. Bottom left: Novak Djokovic is now all by himself on the list for most career Grand Slams won by a men's tennis player. Today, the Serb defeated Casper Ruud 7-6 (1), 6-3, 7-5 in the French Open men's final at Roland-Garros, his 23rd career Grand Slam title. The win breaks a tie with Rafael Nadal. Bottom right: Gowanda High School's softball team completed a historic season on Saturday with the program's first ever state title. On Saturday, the Lady Panthers rallied for four runs in the bottom of the 6th inning to defeat S.S. Seward 6-4 in the New York State Class C championship game in Moriches.
