A Dayton man has been charged after an investigation into a larceny in the Town of Dayton. Cattaraugus County Sheriff's deputies were called to a residence on Peck Hill Road on reports that an air compressor was stolen out of a shed. Deputies say the probe revealed that 47-year-old Daniel Grover had stolen the item, which they discovered in the trunk of Grover's vehicle. He was charged with 5th-degree criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny and was released with an appearance ticket for Dayton Town Court.
