A Cassadaga man was taken into custody Sunday evening for allegedly intentionally violating a stay-away order of protection. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies responded to an address in the Town of Charlotte shortly after 7:15 PM. After an investigation, they located 46-year-old Michael Austin, who was subsequently taken to the Chautauqua County Jail pending centralized arraignment. Austin will appear in Charlotte Town Court at a later date to answer a charge of 2nd-degree criminal contempt.
