Two people from Buffalo were charged after giving false identities to Chautauqua County Sheriff's Deputies. On Wednesday around 4:44AM, Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the City of Jamestown. Through investigation it was found that both the driver and the passenger had allegedly given names belonging to other individuals. Deputies were later able to identify the driver as 42-year-old Joshua Hopkins and the passenger as 38-year-old Tiffany Atkisson. Hopkins was arrested and charged with 2nd-degree criminal impersonation, 2nd-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and numerous vehicle and traffic citations. Atkisson was charged with 2nd-degree criminal impersonation. Both were later released with appearance tickets to appear in the City of Jamestown Court at a later date.
