A man from the Hamlet of Derby is facing harassment charges for unwanted physical contact. Around 2:40AM on Sunday, July 19th, Deputies with the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office responded to an address in the Town of Chautauqua for a reported altercation. Through investigation, it was found that 31-year-old Matthew Brzozowiec had allegedly subjected two people to unwanted physical contact. Brzozowiec was taken into custody and charged with two counts of 2nd-degree harassment. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail where he will be arraigned on the charges at a later date.
