A Westfield woman has been charged with petit larceny after an investigation into a reported shoplifting at a convenience store in the village. Westfield Police were called to Crosby's on East Main Street shortly before 10:45 PM Friday and determined that 51-year-old Maureen Presto allegedly placed items into her purse and left the store without paying. Officers say Presto will answer the charge in Westfield Town Court at a later date.
