An investigation into a larceny complaint at a business in the Town of Hanover late Thursday morning has resulted in a charge against a Dunkirk man. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies were called to the scene shortly after 10:00 AM, and while en route, they located the suspect vehicle in the Town of Hanover. Deputies say the vehicle was stopped, and they saw stolen merchandise in the back seat. A passenger in the vehicle, 36-year-old Xavier Rodriguez-Perez, was taken into custody and charged with petit larceny. He was issued an appearance ticket for Hanover Town Court.
