A traffic stop on Route 60 in the Town of Pomfret resulted in the arrest of a Fredonia man on drug-related charges. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies pulled over a speeding vehicle shortly after 7:00 PM on September 1st and found that the driver, 23-year-old Caydin DeJohn, was allegedly in possession of a controlled substance. He was charged with speeding, consumption of cannabis in a motor vehicle, unsafe backing, 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and tampering with physical evidence. DeJohn was issued appearance tickets for Pomfret Town Court.
