Pysanky Workshop to be Held
Saturday, March 23 2024 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
On Saturday, March 23 from 3-7pm, David Sally will teach a workshop on Pysanky, the Polish/Ukrainian art of decorating Easter eggs. The workshop will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua, located at 222 Temple Street in Fredonia. Parking is located behind the second building. Follow the driveway and park in the lower lot. Handicapped parking is located between the two buildings and directly behind the second building. There is no tuition fee for this workshop, but a freewill donation towards the cost of supplies will be accepted. Natural dyes will be discussed; however, we will be working with commercial dyes, so wear clothes you don't mind getting stained. Participants will complete at least one egg to take home. Registration is required: leave a message at 716 679-7944, or use the Contact form at www.uucnc.org. Space is limited to ten participants, but observers are welcome.
