Clymer Fire Destroys Barn, Kills Several Animals

Several fire departments were busy battling a barn fire late this morning in Clymer. Crews from Clymer, Sherman, Findley Lake, South Ripley, and Panama were called out to 1884 Bush Road around 10:45 AM. Clymer Fire Chief Brian Bensink says several animals died in the blaze, and the barn is a total loss. The owners of the barn, who live in an adjacent house, were reportedly uninjured. The Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team is working to determine the cause.
