Two Young Children Injured in Pick up-Buggy Crash in Leon

Two young children were injured when a pick up struck an Amish buggy on Route 62 in the town of Leon on Monday.  Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Deputies say the truck, driven by 33-year-old Peter Riley of Conewango, struck the buggy from behind.  The occupants of the buggy were all ejected.  Marie Miller escaped injury, but her two children...a 1-year-old son and a 5-week-old son, were injured and transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital.  The 1-year-old was then transferred to Women and Children's Hospital in Buffalo.  Investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
