The State DOT has announced that bridge maintenance work will begin today on the Route 60 bridge over Canadaway Creek in the town of Pomfret. Route 60 will have lane closures between Spoden Road and Shumla Road. Traffic will alternate the use of one lane controlled by temporary traffic signals. The work is expected to last for about three weeks.
