State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman says his office has begun taking legal action against businesses that engaged in price gouging during last week’s snow emergency in Western New York. The Attorney General has already sent a cease and desist letter to one business accused of engaging in price gouging, and is investigating several complaints against other businesses alleged to have engaged in illegal price increases.
