OFA gives tips on beating the heat

The heat is on as temperatures edge up to near 90 degrees across parts of Western New York.  An advocate for senior citizens is advising them to make sure they stay cool and drink plenty of water.  Dr. Mary Ann Spanos of the Chautauqua County Office for the Aging says seniors are especially vulnerable when it comes to excessive heat and humidity and they need to play it safe.

Dr. Spanos says the county has established a number of cooling centers around the area.
