Firefighters in Jamestown made quick work of a vehicle fire that occurred at a fast food restaurant Friday afternoon in the south county city. The Post-Journal reports that crews were called to the parking lot of the Burger King on Foote Avenue around 3:45 PM. According to a witness, a car was completely engulfed in flames, and firefighters had the blaze extinguished after about 15 minutes. Jamestown Fire tells WDOE News that the vehicle was a total loss, and that the driver suffered possible burns to his hand. No word on what caused the fire.
