The village of Cassadaga now has its own floating stage which doubles as a community fishing dock. The 40 by 20 foot structure was recently completed under the direction of Cindy Flaherty of the Cassadaga Lakes Association. Funds for the stage, which was donated to the village, were raised by the Citizens for a better Cassadaga, Cassadaga Lakes Association and the Cassadaga Valley Kiwanis Club. Cassadaga Job Corps carpentry students built the floating stage/fishing dock. The first concert on the new stage will take place on Saturday, September 3 at 6:30 p.m. with Kokomo Time Band as part of Cassadaga's Labor Day Festival.
