League of Women Voters to hold three forums in Chautauqua Co.

The countdown to Election Day continues, with the Chautauqua County League of Women Voters holding three "Meet the Candidate" forums in the county over the next week. The events will begin this evening starting at 7 pm at the JCC campus in Jamestown and Thursday evening at 7 pm at the Fredonia Opera House.  Minda Rae Amiran of the League tells WDOE News that they run their debates differently from the Presidential debates...

The League is also one of several organizations sponsoring a debate involving Congressional candidates on Tuesday, November 1 at 7 pm at Chautauqua Lake Central in Mayville. Both incumbent Republican Tom Reed and Democratic challenger John Plumb will attend the debate. All three forums are open to the public.
