Details of Governor Andrew Cuomo's budget won't be released to the public until this evening. The Buffalo News is reporting that the governor will wait until 7:30 PM. The Senate majority was scheduled to get a briefing over lunch, and the Assembly majority will meet with Cuomo tonight. Area Assemblyman Andy Goodell, who is not a member of the majority, suspects he'll be going over the budget from a briefing book. Goodell-Lots of questions
A set of budget bills must be formally introduced to the State Legislature by midnight. Once he gets a copy of the budget, Goodell says he expects to do a lot of reading, since the budget is usually nearly a foot thick.
