Investigation into the sale of illegal drugs leads to four arrests

A total of four people are facing charges after an investigation into the sale of illegal drugs from a location on Norwood Avenue in Jamestown Friday morning. Investigators from the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and State Police CNET executed a search warrant at 17 Norwood. With the assistance of the Jamestown Police SWAT team, investigators located a quantity of meth and prescription meds along with three people. 28-year-old Andrew Bennett is facing criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, 55-year-old David Hare has been charged with felony 5th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and police have charged 58-year-old Patricia Bargy with felony 5th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Investigators also charged 28-year-old Destiny Franze-Hare with four counts of 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after she was observed leaving in a vehicle from the location just prior to the search warrant being executed. Officers were able to stop Franze-Hare and impound her vehicle. A separate search warrant was obtained for the vehicle and a search turned up meth, prescription pills and LSD. All four are being held in the city jail awaiting arraignment.
