Wednesday's announcement by the Boy Scouts of America to expand its programming to include girls, came as a surprise to the Girl Scouts. Wilcox tells WDOE News that the Girl Scouts are not concerned losing any members because of the decision by BSA.
WDOE News reached out to the Alleghany Highlands Council, which oversees local Boy Scout troops. However, they would not comment on the BSA decision.
