The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal crash that occurred late Saturday night in the Town of Salamanca. Deputies say it appears that a vehicle crossed the center line on Old Route 17 shortly after 11:45 PM and went off the road, striking a tree. The force of the collision caused a passenger to be ejected from the vehicle.
