Big swing in temperatures, end of spring-like weather

Weather continues to impact the area, first with ice jam flooding and later today a major winter storm. The National Weather Service continues a Winter Storm Warning from 1 pm this afternoon to 1 pm Saturday. Meteorologist Tony Ansuini at the Weather Service Office in Buffalo says a nearly 30 degree drop in temperatures will change the rain to a wintry mix this afternoon, then to a general snowfall tonight...

Meanwhile, a Flood Watch remains in effect through late tonight. And Flood Warnings continue for Northeastern Chautauqua County, Southwestern Erie County and Cattaraugus Creek at Gowanda.
