There's a new attraction at the Buffalo Zoo and he doesn't mind the cold weather. The Buffalo Zoo today announced the addition of a new male snow leopard. Altai, a one-year-old male snow leopard, comes to the Buffalo Zoo from the Akron Zoo. Named after the Altai Republic and Altai Mountain Range, he arrived in Buffalo in early October. After successful clearance of health quarantine, he began his introductions to his new habitat. The Buffalo Zoo is hosting 'Polar Bear Days' through the end of February. Admission is $5 all day, every day. Parking is also free.
