A manslaughter charge has been dismissed against a Sherman man who allegedly shot and killed a woman in a hunting accident in November. The charge against 33-year-old Thomas Jadlowski was dismissed this week. Chautauqua County Court Judge David Foley says the DA's Office erred when it presented its case in front of a grand jury against Jadlowski in the death of Rosemary Billquist. It failed to offer a lesser charge. County District Attorney Patrick Swanson will have to decide whether to appeal the decision or bring it back to the grand jury.
