A 27-year-old Chautauqua County man who was accused of firing a handgun into two houses in North Tonawanda on Thanksgiving has pleaded guilty to illegal possession of the gun. The Buffalo News reports that David Brown III agreed to a plea deal on Monday that included a 3 1/2-year state prison term and 3 years of post-release supervision. Sentencing is scheduled for August 6th. WDOE News has learned that Brown is facing a number of drug-related charges in the Jamestown area.
